Life Passages

We are Open to Change and Growth

Baptisms

The traditional and scriptural way to enter the church is through the Sacrament of Holy Baptism. We celebrate this joyful sacrament for both children and adults throughout the year during our regular Sunday worship service. We try to schedule baptisms at least two months in advance so that the parents of the children and adults being baptized can meet for instruction with the pastor. Please contact the office or our pastor to explore this area further.

Marriages

The Service of Marriage is an important event in the life of St. Mark Lutheran Church.  Our pastor is available to marry both those who are members of the church as well as those who are seeking a Christian wedding service, regardless of gender identity or sexual orientation. Our congregation celebrates marriage equality and prays for you and your future spouse as you begin this new chapter in your lives. Weddings should be scheduled at least three months in advance to allow time for pre-marital counseling with our pastor. Please contact our office for more information regarding scheduling and fees.

Funerals and Memorial Services

In times of loss and sorrow, the comfort and reassurance offered by the church can be immensely important. Please contact St. Mark if you need a place to celebrate the life of a loved one. Our pastor will do everything possible to work with a grieving family to commemorate a loved one’s passing with dignity and grace.
