Music at St. Mark

During the year, the congregation has a chance to enjoy special music by soloists, duets, trios, and a quartet with our talented members Rebecca Anderson, Eric Anderson, Julie Kitchen, and Angela Lynch.   

Bella Musica, our handbell choir, is active, as it participates in Sunday worship services, provide wonderful music during the Lenten season, at the Thanksgiving Eve worship service at St. Mark Village, as well as the four Sundays in Advent. Bella Musica also playes music at various other times during the year. Bella Musica members include Rebecca Anderson, Delaine Roberts, Eric Anderson, Lisa Rude, Janice Froelich, Diane Salmon, Angela Lynch, Linda Vehrs, and Barbara Woodworth. 

Newly added to St. Mark’s music program is flutist Melissa Taylor.   


The members of St. Mark’s Bella Musica Handbell Choir will be heading to Gainesville, Florida on Friday, February 23, 2018 to participate in the two-day Florida Area 4 Handbell Workshop. David Harris, conductor of the premier handbell choir, the Raleigh Ringers, will facilitate the workshop. Following the workshop will be a concert at Trinity United Methodist Church located at 4000 NW 53rd Avenue, Gainesville, Florida (32653). The concert will begin at 3:00 pm on Saturday and is open to all.
