Ongoing Missions
We support missions that serve our local community as well as those that support the greater community to include Pack-a-sack, Bags of Blessings, ELCA Disaster Response, Noisy Offerings (Outreach), and The Giving Tree.
Christian Services
Community Activities
St. Mark strives to be generous in giving and serving, and we love engaging in the life of our community. Be it serving at local food pantries, doing beach clean-ups, walking with neighbors at Dunedin’s United Faiths Walk of Peace, or participating in justice ministry with FAST, we strive to engage our faith in our everyday lives. We’ve also recently started packing weekend meals for children in need as well as participating in God’s Work, Our Hands day with the ELCA.
Fellowship
Strengthening Relationships
At St. Mark we see fellowship as a way to strengthen relationships among our members and with the surrounding community. In addition to regular fellowship opportunities, our traditions include a number of annual events that commemorate special times during the year and provide opportunities for fellowship and celebration.
Highlights include a fun night at a Thresher’s Baseball game complete with fireworks. The Annual Summer Church Picnic follows. We have enjoyed great weather at beautiful Phillippe Park. We ate barbecued chicken, hot dogs with all the usual fixin’s and plenty of watermelon.
St. Mark Fellowship
Be it a picnic, a potluck, or a kayaking trip down the Weeki Wachee, our congregation regularly plans fellowship events to foster friendships and community together.
